Positive Mindset Quotes BUNDLE to Use in your Classroom or Office
They were created with the idea of putting these quotes in 8X10 frames and creating a bulletin board for your classroom in a spot that you, as the teacher, could glance at and receive some uplifting words to sooth your soul. So, the picture on the cover is what this might look like if you used that idea. However as people saw these quotes and I began to think about it, I came up with some other ideas, which I will share with you. Since I created these, I have had a few individuals, one a principal, say that he would like to have these framed for his office...so...there are 3 sets sold individually. One uses pastel chevron backgrounds, the other has more primary chevron backgrounds and a third blank for students to decorate.
This resource is a PDF file. Inside you will find:
- 44 Inspirational quotes...some original some by famous people.
How it works
Create a bulletin board as mentioned above using these quotes either framed or mounted.
Frame a few and place them around your classroom.
Make a wall display in your office.
Frame one or two and put them in your office for inspiration...I have one in my office.
Show one quote a week during morning meeting and encourage your class to brainstorm the meaning of the quote and to explain their thinking.
Give small groups of children a quote. Each group should have a different quote. Have them use the response frame provided to think about their quote and what it means. Then have a sharing time in which each group or partnership shows the quote, explains what it means and discusses their thinking. Other students can have a time to share their ideas about their quotes in the same manner. After each presentation, Children can agree or disagree with the ideas and support their thinking.
These can also be used in a writing center and each child can do what is mentioned above using the response frame or you can have them write about what the quote means to them and how this can be applied to their life.
